They will either have to compromise or end up with large monthly payments. What’s the fun of having a ‘mortgage’ on your vacation? Or trading in your house and still having to maintain a large RV loan?
To the rescue comes this fabulous do-it-yourself project! It’s a 5th wheel that you can build at home.
You have to see this - it’s very cool. He starts with a flatbed and builds out a beautiful 5th wheel complete with slides.
If you are a DYI guy, or just inspired by other people’s abilities to build something from nothing, you absolutely have to see this video!

Fantastic - my Dad build at pickup camper back in the 80s and they still use the removable bed in their cabin in Maine.
Many happy travels - the video will make it real for your boys as they grow.
