I was talking with a friend a few days ago, and he was lamenting the end of another summer.
While I love summer and often follow it, I have to say fall is one of my favorite seasons.
Fall brings a crispness to the air and a certain earthy smell. If you’re on the road it’s a great opportunity to enjoy freshly-harvested produce in the area you’re in. Nothing tastes better than an apple just picked, a potato just dug.
If you’re in the northeastern U.S. or Canada, fall hosts a spectacular show as leaves change color.
The message is .. if you’re living the life you choose, then enjoying the season is simply a matter of changing your perspective.
On the other hand, if fall just means the approach of winter, then now is the time to start making your plans to head further south and follow the sun for the next few months.

Summer is no longer a rumor - it’s already here in some parts and just around the corner in others.

A lot of people feel that getting the rig they want will put them in the poor house. They will either have to compromise or end up with large monthly payments. What’s the fun of having a ‘mortgage’ on your vacation? Or trading in your house and still having to maintain a large RV loan?
To the rescue comes this fabulous do-it-yourself project! It’s a 5th wheel that you can build at home.
You have to see this - it’s very cool. He starts with a flatbed and builds out a beautiful 5th wheel complete with slides.
